Our national network of more than 12,000 clinicians works to help people gain a more comprehensive view of their health by conducting In-Home Health Evaluations (IHEs). During an IHE, clinicians identify chronic conditions, close gaps in care, and address social determinants of health, making it possible for health plan members to get connected to the right care for their unique needs. 

In 1968, President Lyndon Johnson introduced Hispanic Heritage Week. The week was later expanded by President Ronald Reagan in 1988 to encompass a 30-day period beginning September 15 and ending October 15. The mid-month starting and ending dates align with many significant independence anniversaries in Latin American countries, including El Salvador, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Mexico and Chile.

Career dreams don’t always work out the we imagine. Luckily for our health plan members, Susan McGinnis’ second act brought her to nursing and to Signify Health.
